So as not to have every post about me & the baby I'm going to try to write about other things too. I'm also going to try to write more often. :) A good goal for the next month.

My favorite reality TV show is back.... So You Think You Can Dance!!
I love watching people dance! Last year I was addicted to the show. Addicted so much that Steve bought us tickets to see it when they were at the Target Center this past fall. But after watching a bit of last week, I realize that I'm not crazy about the audition shows. You have these horrible dancers that they purposely spotlight just to make fun of. Either they are auditioning just for attention (which is kind of lame) or they really think they can dance (which is really sad watching them get laughed at by the judges). poor people. I think I might just wait & watch once they've picked their top 20.

a HUGE, MEGA thank you!

I'm so very grateful to everyone that helped throw a baby shower for me & for all those who literally showered us with gifts. It is a HUGE blessing to not have to buy everything for the baby ourselves. It makes me realized how blessed we are to have such dear friends, family & co- workers.

we are pretty much set. the nursery is ready to go.
now we're just waiting the arrival of our little guy!

My Ever-growing Belly

We are expecting a baby soon! Our official due date is June 14th. We are very excited! I've wanted to be a mom ever since I was a little girl.

I'm at 37 weeks now which means they say I can go at any time. I'm just starting to "feel" big. My fingers & ankles are retaining water & I get out of breath super easily. People tell me when the baby drops I'll be able to breathe better. My WHOLE torso is baby so I'm not sure where it's going to drop to?! All in all I can't complain though because it's been a good pregnancy. Working at a children's specialty clinic, I see & hear a lot of what goes wrong. Each week that passes I'm very relieved that the baby has stayed in yet another week. The best thing about being pregnant has been feeling the baby kick!

God has been so good to us! I keep hoping & praying that the delivery goes smoothly. Of course I'm a bit nervous, but I think that's pretty normal for all first time moms.
